    • 2020 GMC Denali 3500 HD Duramax is a BEAST!

Pulling a conventional 10,000 lb trailer over mountain passes is a whole new experience. Staying at the speed limit up long steep grades did not change the engine temperature. I feathered the accelerator up the mountain. The new 10 speed transmission is so smooth you cant feel it changing gears. This is my second GMC Denali Duramax, first being a 2016. I debated trading in for over a year, and am so happy I made the trade. Trailers always exceed by far the tongue weight posted on them, and in my case it came in at 1450 lbs. That exceeded my trucks posted maximum. The 2020 dually posts a 2,000 lb tongue weight, so now I can front load the trailer, and that reduces sway. If you can afford it, and have a heavy trailer, buy the truck!

    • In shop for 13 weeks so far!

My truck has been in the shop for 13 weeks to this point with no end in sight. The Infotainment panel blew out which controls pretty much everything. Nice truck except if something goes wrong then, good luck! I would recommend looking at Fords and Rams and ask the question, how many vehicles do you have in your shop waiting for parts and for how long. I heard of one at my GMC dealership that has been waiting for 8 months! Only thing I get from GM is "we understand your frustration". Apparently they don't, or I would have my truck back long ago.
